Adam mixing at Paramount Studios Hollywood

Hey Guys,

Andy, Nic and I are up in LA at a famous studio called Paramount Studios on beautiful (not) Santa Monica Blvd… lots of well known records have been mixed here…. from Hip Hop to Rock to Los Lobos:-)…….. Jimi Hendrix was in here in the late  60’s… Led Zeppilin was in here… Snoop Dogg… Mary J. Blige… Ozzy Osborne…… and now: Adam Watts Band… ha! Our 2nd engineer (the dude from the studio that helps us out) is a cool guy… Jamie… turns out a he’s a church going fella like us:-).

Today we’re laying down some mixes for two projects… one is for a band on Hollywood Records: The Ballas Hough Band… the other is for the new AWB EP (!!!)… we’ve almost got the track list nailed down… we think it’s gonna be the best stuff we’ve ever done (every band says that), but we are truly excited about the songs and the performances… can’t wait for you to get a copy!!

Oh, and there’s a place across the street called “Perfect Drinking Water”… in case you were wondering where to get perfect water, it’s in some junky shopping center in Hollywood… and all this time I thought it was found in some epic mountain spring, rushing down a waterfall…:-)

Oh, by the way, that new song “To Be Saved” is nearly done… and a surprise song called “Everything Else Is Gone” has re-emerged… and it’s now a shoot out between the two for the final spot on the EP… I wrote “NEIG” a few months ago and when I re-listened to the half-recorded track a few days ago, I really felt connected to it… it reminded me of this weird suspended lost feeling I was having then and the hope I found in the Lord after the weirdness… I’m all fired up to finish it over the next few days…
